Jeep Grand Cherokee (2012-2021)

The Grand Cherokee is something that has been redefining premium comfort with its three-row seating which can easily take seven passengers, with comfort of 16-way adjustable power memory front seats and ambient lighting for a refined experience. Grand Cherokee also improves great connectivity with a 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. With a combination of modern technology, spacious cabin and top-class features, the Cherokee is stands out as a top-tier SUV.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee is certainly a good choice as a full-size, big SUV with its powerful 2.0L turbo-petrol engine delivering 268 bhp and 400 Nm of torque, mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission for smooth performance. The cabin comes as luxury with high-quality materials, leather upholstery, ambient lighting, and a spacious layout. The Grand Cherokee is a big, powerful SUV that comes with top features in comfort, safety and an excellent drive. As part of the Jeep brand, The Cherokee has been a favourite of enthusiasts and still quite appealing for many buyers. However, it is not my first choice in the segment, I feel the Cherokee now looks slightly old and not modern. It needs some styling change with a more contemporary design along with an aggressive look. There are several Japanese and Korean alternatives to this SUV, that score way more in almost every area.

After nearly 5 years with my Grand Cherokee, time has come for me to bid adieu to this wonderful car for something new. This time with this beautiful SUV has been filled with joy, memories, fun and excitement. When I bought it in 2020, it was an impulse buy, but I never regretted it for a minute, and it is a joy to drive. And today, after nearly more than 100,000 km I am thrilled. There is nothing wrong with the Grand Cherokee, however, my family is insisting on going for something more tech-laden and more SUV, mostly likely for a German premium brand.
